Professional Development (CPD)
Points would soon be mandatory for renewing practicing licences and that the Annual Prosecutors\u2019 conference would count towards those points. “This conference now forms part of the CPD framework,” he declared,
“recognising the vital role prosecutors play in our justice system and the need for ongoing professional growth.
Consider this our investment in you, because when prosecutors grow stronger, Zambia’s justice system also grows stronger.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The significant announcement came during Mr. Zulu\u2019s opening address at the Third Annual National Prosecutors\u2019 Conference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mr. Zulu further highlighted the unique position that National Prosecution Authority prosecutors hold in the Association, noting that \u201cNPA lawyers form the largest constituent of LAZ membership\u201d which is a clear indicator of their numerical and professional significance in Zambia\u2019s legal landscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
