These properties were deemed proceeds of crime following Malanji\u2019s conviction on seven counts of &#8220;Possession of Property Reasonably Suspected of Being Proceeds of Crime&#8221; pursuant to the Forfeiture of Proceeds of Crime Act No. 19 of 2010.<br>The application is supported by an affidavit sworn by Mukelebai Kwaleyela, Director of the Anti-Money Laundering Investigations Unit (AMLIU) at the Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC).<br>This move highlights the NPA\u2019s commitment to preventing criminals from profiting from illegal activities.
