In his continued quest for international mutual cooperation, the learned Director of Public Prosecutions, Mr. Gilbert A. Phiri, SC, met with Ethiopia’s State Minister for the Attorney General Division, His Excellency Mr. Tesfaye Daba. They discussed enhancing cooperation, focusing on Ethiopia’s growing role in the African Prosecutors Association (APA), and reaffirmed commitments to combat human trafficking, transnational crimes, and improve mutual legal assistance frameworks.

The meeting opened with a symbolic gesture, as Mr. Phiri received traditional Ethiopian gifts, including a handcrafted scarf, symbolising strengthened ties between the two nations.
